šDefinitively the best hike in Boliviaš.

A newly opened Inca trail in the Madidi National Park !. We have
designed this new program for those who seek the essence of real
adventure avoiding the overcrowded trails. The trail passes through
pristine CLOUD FOREST vegetation hosting a multitude of interesting
and colorful birds. This nine days trek involves spectacular Andean
scenery along an ancient paved Inca trail. This adventure is safari
style using porters to carry your gear and supplies. We may hike
up to 10 miles on the longest day with some moderate ups and extreme
downs. We require that all participants be in good health and
good physical condition. WeŽll use a long log raft to cross the
famous Tuichi river. The Tuichi River earned its reputation many
years ago when a small group of adventurers, who while in search
of gold, got lost and became separated. Two survived and two are
still missing. One of them, Yossi Ghinsberg, survived a harrowing
accident on the log raft they built when it catapulted over a
thirty-foot waterfall. He was separated from his partner and was
lost in the jungle for nearly a month. Death was close when he
was found by a local guide, rescued and taken back to civilization.
The rapids that make up the Tuichi River are big and powerful,
the jungle is thick and full of animals and birds.
