Beginner: No prior climbing
experience is required. Climbers should be in good physical condition.
Intermediate: Climbers
should have basic snow and ice-climbing skills and should be comfortable
with glacier travel, which includes moving in a rope team, self
arrest, and basic crevasse rescue.
Advanced: Climbers should
be comfortable climbing on exposed ridges, 45 to 60 degree slopes
and have a well-rounded past history of climbing experience.
